Too many HVAC companies in the New Orleans market were cutting corners — recommending unnecessary replacements, sending under-trained technicians to complex jobs, and treating customers as transactions rather than neighbors. Kevin had watched it happen for years, and he had watched homeowners pay for it. In 2022, after nearly two decades in the field, he decided the right move was to build something better from the ground up.
New Orleans Mechanical Pros launched in 2022 with a clear mission: bring the technical depth of a 17-year career to every service call, and run the business the way a neighbor would — with honesty, transparency, and genuine accountability. The company was built on the belief that New Orleans deserved an HVAC contractor that would tell you what your system actually needs, not what generates the highest invoice.

Kevin Washington founded New Orleans Mechanical Pros in 2022 after more than 17 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC and mechanical services industry. He has worked on residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities across Greater New Orleans, specializing in air conditioning repair, commercial mechanical systems, and the installation and replacement of chillers and boilers. He started the company because he believed New Orleans homeowners and businesses deserved better — and he had the experience to deliver it.
