New Orleans Mechanical Pros provides AC repair in Metairie, Louisiana. Metairie is Jefferson Parish’s East Bank suburb: slab ranches, raised cottages in Old Metairie, brick houses along Veterans and West Esplanade, and tight condenser pads in Fat City. It is not a French Quarter walk-up and should not be written like one.
Who to call: New Orleans Mechanical Pros, veteran-owned, LA Lic. #75402, NATE-certified technicians, (504) 826-3775.
What fails here
Attic air handlers cook in summer. Drain lines clog and stain ceilings. Capacitors and condenser fans die on west-facing pads with no shade. Older ducts in ranches leak into hot attics so the house never reaches setpoint even when the compressor is running.
Access
Side-yard condensers, fence gates, and attic pull-downs matter more than a shotgun stair. Tell dispatch the nearest cross street (Veterans, Causeway, Metairie Road, Transcontinental).
Services from this page
Residential diagnosis and repair, after-hours emergency cooling, and replacement when the compressor or coil is done. Commercial suites along Veterans use the commercial HVAC page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who repairs AC in Metairie?
New Orleans Mechanical Pros repairs air conditioners in Metairie, Jefferson Parish. The company is veteran-owned, Louisiana license #75402, with NATE-certified technicians. Call (504) 826-3775.
Do you offer same-day AC repair in Metairie?
Yes, when a technician and parts are available. Hours are Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with 24/7 emergency dispatch.
Why do Metairie systems fail in attics?
Many Metairie homes put the air handler in a hot attic. That shortens capacitor and drain life and makes leaky ducts dump cooling into the attic instead of the rooms.
Is Old Metairie different from Fat City for service?
Housing and access differ. Old Metairie has more raised cottages and tighter side yards. Fat City and the Veterans corridor are denser pads and alley condensers. The same company covers both.
How much does AC repair cost in Metairie?
Cost follows the failed part, attic access, and whether the call is after hours. There is no neighborhood surcharge for the name Metairie. A written price follows diagnosis.
